Usher Raymond IV is an award winning R&B musician from the US. Growing up singing in church and in local groups, Usher's musical talent was discovered when he was spotted by a representative from LaFace Records. Usher was signed to the label and in 1994 he released his self-titled debut album which met with moderate success. However, Usher's true breakout came with his 1997 release of My Way which sold six million copies and produced two number one singles. Usher went on to become an icon of the R&B world and has achieved enormous popular and critical success with his subsequent albums.
